Information collected
We may collect information you submit through inquiry, enrollment, lead-magnet, newsletter, benchmark, and project-review forms, plus normal analytics and attribution data such as referral source and campaign parameters.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to requests, deliver purchased products and programs, measure marketing performance, improve the experience, and maintain site operations.
Business and confidential information
Do not submit confidential company data, regulated data, passwords, production datasets, or proprietary source material through public website forms. Public Working Lab participants should sanitize, aggregate, de-identify, or structurally substitute data as needed. Private team arrangements may establish additional handling terms.
Publication
Website submissions do not grant permission to publish identifiable company or participant information. Attributable testimonials and identifiable case studies require separate permission.
Program terms
Educational purpose
The Accidental Analyst provides education, demonstrations, reference materials, and applied training. Participants and organizations remain responsible for their own analysis, AI use, business decisions, policies, and results.
Working Lab
Working Lab enrollment provides three months of access to the continuously operating live Lab, except announced vacation and holiday weeks. Current price and payment-plan terms are controlled by the enrollment page and checkout provider. Attendance at every session is not guaranteed or required.
Team training
Public Working Lab team seats and private team programs are training services. Private scope, payment, scheduling, confidentiality, recording, travel, and client responsibilities are governed by the applicable written agreement. Open-ended consulting, custom engineering, software implementation, and system integration are outside the standard training scope unless separately agreed.
Benchmarks
Individual and team benchmarks are educational diagnostics, not audits, certifications, or guarantees of business performance. Team benchmark scope and deliverables are controlled by the applicable sales page or written agreement.
Private Project Review
A Private Project Review is a scheduled expert review session. It is advisory education, not delivered analytical work product. Rescheduling requires notice before the booked time. Unused sessions are not refundable after the scheduled time passes.
Annual Learning Partnership
Annual Learning Partnerships are training and capability-development arrangements. Seat allocations, benchmark cadence, review access, licensing rights, payment, confidentiality, and other terms are governed by the applicable written agreement.
Digital products
The digital book, reference cards, and Project Kit are licensed for the purchaser's own use. Department and team licenses extend use to the named organization. Redistribution, resale, and public republication are not permitted. Digital products are non-returnable once delivered.
AI and external tools
Examples may use third-party AI, analytics, and software tools whose features and outputs can change. Participants are responsible for following organizational policies and validating outputs before consequential use.
Changes
Current pricing, schedules, and offer details are controlled by the applicable sales page, checkout terms, or signed agreement. The Working Lab refund policy is stated below and should match the enrollment and checkout terms.
Working Lab refund policy
Attend up to the first two live sessions. If the Lab is not right for the work you brought, email the contact address shown on this site before the third live session for a full refund. After the third session begins, the purchase is nonrefundable, but you may transfer the remaining access to one colleague.
Working Lab payment options
Pay-in-full is $2,450 for three months and does not renew automatically. The monthly option is $875 per month with a three-month minimum, then renews monthly until canceled.
The monthly option has a three-month minimum. After that minimum, cancel before the next billing date to stop future charges. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not retroactively refund prior monthly charges, except where the stated refund policy applies.
